We have lots of news and updates for you this week and top of the agenda is a super warm welcome to Amanda!
Amanda is our new Massage Therapist and she can’t wait to get started and meeting you all when we return to working from the clinic. Some of you will have already spoken to her and for those of you lucky enough to have been part of her wonderful meditation class you’ll know how calming and relaxing working with Amanda is. Amanda has vast experience in Holistic Health and Wellbeing and her skills are perfect not only for the current situation but moving forward as we come out of lockdown. Her classes and eventually her massage therapies when we are fully back in the clinic will be perfect for these complicated and stressful times, a complete tonic for the soul.
Spring is well and truly here now and it’s wonderful to get out and about a little more to see just how gorgeous it is at this time of year. All this gardening, walking, biking and home-working bring challenges such as stiffness, stress and a reawakening of all our aches and pains that we thought had gone away. Now, more than any other time it is vitally important to look after ourselves so we have updated our class timetable with a few alterations to times and days. I have attached a copy for you below.
We’ve also introduced a new class! LIIT (Low Intensity Interval Training) is the perfect class if you fancy doing an exercise class but are afraid of burpees, press-ups and Lycra and bumpy bits! Hannah will guide you through a specially designed exercise programme with no scary stuff in a safe and caring way. LIIT is the perfect introduction to exercise classes and its fun too! 😊
Obviously the Menopause didn’t get the memo about Lockdown, so for all you lovely ladies out there who are struggling with symptoms of The Change, don’t forget Wendy’s fantastic online course discussing all things hormonal, diet, exercise and much much more.
For all you lovely Hubsters out there, this is advance notice that Lecture One will be available completely free of charge on Facebook from 21st May. But, be warned, this will only be available for 7 days, so comment and like then sign up for the whole series of lectures. Just think, no more “It’s just my age”
And finally, there will be NO classes on Monday 25th May owing to the Bank Holiday. How about trying another class at another time or day if you are going to miss your usual class? I have attached the updated schedule for you to choose an alternative, drop us an email and we’ll send you the links.
PLEASE NOTE PRINTING ERROR ON THE SCHEDULE, PILATES ON TUESDAY IS AT 3.45 PM NOT 3.30 PM AS STATED ON SCHEDULE.
That’s all for now folks have a wonderful week and we’ll see you all very soon
Lots of love
Vic and the Hub Angels xxx
