Karen was born in Plymouth and lived with her parents at Devonport and Crownhill before the family moved to Worcestershire. Holidays were spent at her Grandparents in Beacon Park so retaining her links with the area. She has always considered herself a Devonian and was delighted when the opportunity arose to return and live in the West Country. Having experienced for herself the effects of Reflexology, she recognised its potential to help others and studied both Reflexology and Indian Head Massage, becoming a full member of the Association of Reflexologists. Subsequently, Karen gained a teaching qualification and has, for many years, worked alongside colleagues as an instructor and mentor for both disciplines. She continues to research the subjects with particular emphasis on treating children who appear on the Autistic Spectrum. In her spare time, Karen likes nothing more than walking her dog, Domino, particularly on the Moors and windswept beaches.
